Refund Policy

How the free trial, cancellation, and refunds work for Cynap subscriptions.

Draft — pending counsel review

This page reflects Cynap's current commercial model — no setup fee, a 14-day free trial, and monthly billing — and is published as a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed or approved by legal counsel and is not the binding policy until that review is complete.

1. Merchant of Record

Payments for Cynap are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax, and customer billing support for transactions. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to every purchase in addition to this policy.

2. Your 14-Day Free Trial

Every Cynap subscription begins with a 14-day free trial, and the free trial is the way you evaluate Cynap risk-free. The trial clock starts when your first solution goes live — when at least one agreed solution is running in your connected tools — not when you add your card.

  • When you start, your payment method is authorized but not charged. You have full access throughout the trial.
  • If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged — no refund is needed because no payment is taken.
  • Unless you cancel, the trial automatically converts to the monthly plan on day 15, and the first monthly charge is taken then.
  • If delivery of your first solution runs late, your trial does not start and you are not charged until it is live — the free period always runs from go-live.

3. After the Trial: Cancellation

Once your subscription is active, you can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid month, so you keep access through the period you have already paid for. The current month is not refunded once it has started, except where a refund is required by applicable law (see Section 4).

4. Refunds Required by Law

Because the free trial means you are only ever charged after a 14-day risk-free period, Cynap does not offer a separate money-back guarantee. We will still honor any refund required by applicable law and any minimum buyer protection set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

5. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

  • To cancel during or after your trial, use your account settings or email the Cynap team with your account details — cancellation during the trial guarantees no charge.
  • For a refund that is required by law, email the Cynap team with your account details and the order or invoice reference, or contact Paddle directly at paddle.net for billing or refund support.
  • See our Terms of Service for full billing and cancellation details.
